Amazing Details Every Coffee Bar Must Have

Create a coffee bar.
Think about the design, menu, and items to make it a perfect place for your barista to make coffee!

As a business owner in the coffee industry, one of your most defiant challenges is to create the coolest coffee bar or station. Think about the Central Perk cafĂ© in the popular TV series, Friends. How amazing Gunther’s work was. He gave his business a cozy look. Yes, you want your clients to feel at home and feel that they can have a good chat with you and your baristas.

Believe it or not, the atmosphere you manage to have at your coffee bar will make your clients want to stay longer. There are crucial elements of design that can bring everyone’s attention. But among all of the aesthetics, the most important aspect you must check first on your list is to hire a professional barista with a good sense of socialization.

That being said, select your coffee-making essentials, such as coffee machines, coffee beans, grinder, cups, and additional ingredients. Then, give them a new twist and make them look chic! Take notes of these tips to create an amazing coffee bar.

Make it a show

Most people like to see how their coffee is made. When designing a coffee bar, try to locate the barista’s workplace facing your customers. Making coffee is an art these days, and you should please your business clientele with a good show.

Funny signs

Everyone has a motto now. Place some framed quotes and phrases related to coffee, and how perfectly imperfect life is. Your clients not only will feel more understood and laugh, but they will definitely want to take a picture of it and post it on their social media accounts. Here are some ideas:

  • Have a cup of cheer
  • First I drink coffee, then I do things
  • Coffee is a cup of hope in a world full of chaos and mondays
  • Don’t make me use my before-coffee voice
  • Coffee, my hot friend I was telling you about

Decorate with mugs

Coffee mugs come in different sizes, colors, and shapes. The vintage ones are a trend. They are old fashion, but they will give a homey feeling to the spot. You can use them as storage for sugar, for instance, and even to plant some cool cactuses.

Made it crystal clear stocking

It is also trendy to show all the ingredients in crystal clear stockings, especially jars with beautifully roasted beans, those delicate cinnamon or cocoa powders, freshly ground coffee, and a bunch of marshmallows. You can use uniform bottles of honey, maple syrup, and chocolate syrup. And because each one will have the same kind of stocking, remember to add some labels on them.

Rustic menu

Instead of showing your beverage options on a lame piece of paper, try writing it on wood or maybe a blackboard. These days, there is nothing fancier than using different kinds of texture in your menu decorations. You can also write them down on a glass, like if it was a frame or a window.

Hide some stuff

Install some drawers to hide those unattractive implements used by your baristas. A tidy up space is always better, especially if you want your clients to focus on the artsy way their coffee is being made, instead of how messy the coffee bar is. Please, do not make it look like a messy kitchen! Think about functionality and aesthetics. Cabinets can do the trick!

Add plants

Plants will add a warming homey feeling. The ones that will not die if you forget about them or won’t be an obstacle in the process of coffee making, they have to be short and wasteless, such as cactuses, jades, air plants, aloe vera, and succulents.

How to Make the Perfect Cold Brew Cocktail

This is an interesting way to present cold-brewed coffee to your customers.
You’ve probably heard about Cold Brew Cocktails and how these drinks experiment with the flavor of coffee. Well, if you have to drink it at least once, you could quickly notice that the coffee flavor is less dense than in traditional beverages.

Do you want to know the reason? It’s because the process of brewing is different from the traditional way. Today you'll learn how cold brew coffee works, and how to prepare the best cocktails in those hot days of summer.

Cold Brew Coffee is prepared by grinding fresh coffee beans and then immersing this mix in cold water for 12 or 15 hours to brew. This process discards the natural acidness from coffee, conserving the smoothness of liquid and its classic flavor.

At the same time, cold brew coffee is denser than hot brewed coffee, and it can be included in recipes that combine its natural flavor with other powerful ingredients. The best way to drink cold brew coffee is in cocktails because of its smoothness.

If you want to enjoy a liquor-free for summertime, you can mix ice, cold brew coffee, and brown sugar syrup to make a delicious Skinny Frappe. If you want a creamy drink, feel free to add a little bit of milk.

For a morning drink, you can mix ice, 100 ml of tonic water, one grapefruit wedge, and 50 ml of cold brew coffee. This recipe results on a great companion for breakfast as a very healthy energizer.

If you want a drink that contains liquor for a party night, try a Midnight Hour Rum Sour mixing ice, 5cl of dark rum, 1cl of lemon juice, 1 cl brown sugar syrup, 2cl of cold brew coffee and a lemon zest for decoration. The effect will make you feel fresh and joyful because of the sweetness of this dark beverage.

The secret for a perfect cold brew cocktail is in the proportion of the ingredients and the mixing. Also, the recipients that you choose influence on the results because of the distribution of elements in the space.

For example, in a beverage like the Skinny Frappe, you’ll need to be careful with the syrup and the milk if you don't want a drink too sugary. For the Midnight Hour Rum Sour, you have to be precise in the amounts of the ingredients. If you add too much lemon juice, the liquor and the cold brew coffee will be opaqued for the acidness, ruining the drink.

A cold brew cocktail is an ideal alternative in days with high temperature or in times when you want to experience another way to drink coffee. Here in Coffland Corp, we bring you the best recipes and recommendations to prepare your coffee beans.
It's a great combination if you know how to do it.

What's a coffee bar and why you should offer one?

This is one of the methods to reach another kind of audience.

Coffee is one of the most commercial products worldwide. You can find a coffee house in almost any location in the world. However, there’s a whole subdivision of the coffee businesses. One of them is particularly interesting: the coffee bars. These are itinerant coffee stands, put up in any place with enough space, and in which incredible blends and excellent service are provided to select customers for a limited period. What makes these stands appealing? Why should you offer one?

Coffee bars have been a trend for quite some time, and while most people think of them as coffee houses, they are more like pop-up stores. With small measures (most coffee bars are not over 3 square meters) they are ideal for showcasing individual aspects of your brand. They are often handled by a professional bartender, with the aid of a promoter. The former takes care of the preparation, often in a visual way (moving cups and playing with the instruments much like bartenders), while the latter does the introduction and assists in the serving process. This two-man bar is a simple yet effective way to create brand recognition.

The best thing about coffee bars is their convenience. Like any other mobile setup, they can be located in almost any place. And with proper service, they can work as a semi-franchise for your physical store. A simple coffee bar can also have a vital role in creating a new market. Locating them in malls and other settings, such as social events (weddings, conferences, business meetings, and so), offers a unique platform to contact with potential customers.

Coffee store owners know that the best way to show a coffee brand is through direct experimentation. People that want to interact with the coffee bar setup are often the ones that find your store and become regular clients. That, paired with unique and quality blends, is a way many coffee businesses succeed.

Check Coffland Corp social media profiles to know more about the offers they have for private brands! They can help you reach your business dreams and catapult your company to new heights!
These are excellent options to make events and transform your business.
