Compost it for Later

With the rest of your organic food leftover, like carbon boards,  used kitchen paper and the like, coffee grounds are a great addition to your compost. Studies have shown it produces more earthworms due to the increase in the nutrient content. Also, you can add them directly to your plants!

Absorb Odors

A cup of used coffee grounds in the refrigerator and freezer will absorb food odors. Place it in the back of the fridge and change it every two weeks. And of course, after you remove smelly old grounds, you can compost them, meaning two uses!

Unblock the Sink

Pour the grounds into the sink if your drains are clogged, then add liquid soap and a kettle of boiling water. It works perfectly! You can use it for your bathroom shower drainage too!

Gently scatter old used coffee grounds over the pile of ashes to weight them down; this will prevent clouds of smoke when sweeping out.

Combine used or old soaps from the hotels you have visited with you coffee leftovers. It will scrub your dead skin properly and disappear unwanted odors. You can add essential oils. As a result, it can be your coffee shop bathroom soap or something you can give to your loved ones as a gift. But if you think it’s not enough, try making coffee candles instead.

Also, you can place some coffee grounds on your counter for removing odors from your hands when cooking, especially after chopping garlic, onions, and other smelly things.
