Coffee cultural landscape of Colombia
The CCLC is a group of coffee zones in the central and western foothills of the Andes mountain range in Colombia formed by Caldas, Quindio, Risaralda and Valle del Cauca. Because of the roughness of the landscape and the uneven height of the soils, these zones are tough to maintain. Despite the difficulties, coffee families have made these places their home, and they have taken an economic advantage of it.

Although, these coffee families have made this landscape a touristic attraction to coffee lovers around the world. They developed a proper culture full of traditions like music, dances and even a formal language around coffee. That way, in 2011, the CCLC became World Heritage by UNESCO. Since then, global cultural politics have protected this coffee zone by helping the rental tourism and the cultural production.
