Learn How Many Vitamins You Consume in a Coffee Cup

According to studies, a daily dose of coffee is great for your body.
Unlike popular beliefs, coffee is an excellent ally for our general system. In addition to providing us with enough energy to survive a Monday morning, it also helps to absorb the nutrients needed for the maintenance of the human body.

Coffland Corp will show you the benefits that are contained in a cup of coffee. Although it has many advantages, it’s necessary to remember that caffeine is dangerous if it's consumed in large amounts. Make sure your thirst for coffee is proportional to your health!

One cup of coffee a day keeps the doctor away

Coffee is great for those with problems absorbing nutrients because this drink promotes absorption of potassium and calcium. In addition, the natural properties of caffeine include the production of potassium, magnesium and vitamin E.

A healthy diet joined by a cup of coffee is perfect for increasing your body's health and making your daily chores easier. The immediate benefits of regular coffee drinking include:

  • Iron is a necessary mineral for the human body as it keeps us active and strong. Coffee usually complicates iron absorption due to the properties of caffeine. However, if you eat food which is high in iron such as eggs, meat, or beans and drink coffee an hour after your meal, these effects are countered.

  • Zinc is essential for our immune system and cellular growth. Coffee promotes the absorption of this mineral while consuming an adequate daily amount. Zinc can be found in meat, seafood, almonds, grains and some legumes.

  • Taking a delicious latte is excellent for our bones because milk contains calcium, essential to prevent fractures or any other injury to our skeleton.

  • Vitamin B-2 plays a fundamental role in the human body. It promotes hormonal processes such as tissue recovery and blood circulation. With a daily coffee cup, you get a percentage of vitamin B-2 needed for your daily routine. Due to coffee, you'll look and feel younger!

  • You can consume magnesium through grains, bread, and peanut butter, but also through coffee! Magnesium helps with bone strengthening, muscle contraction and heart function.

Now that you know more about coffee, surely you will promote it as the best drink in the world! Here at Coffland Corp, we know what is the best for you, so start drinking this marvelous beverage and spread the health to your close friends!
But this doesn't mean you should stop eating well!

Live a Supernatural Experience at This Coffee Shop

That's how spooky stories begin, but at this shop, ghosts and people drink in the same cups.
A ghost story is a great way to improve spookiness in a dark, rusty night. Probably most of you think that these type of stories are only to scare little kids and prevent them from approaching the kitchen at night, sneaking out to eat.

Taking advantage of Halloween, we will introduce you a real-life story of a coffee shop haunted by supernatural stuff. If you don't believe in us, go and visit The coffee shop at Caldwell County, near to San Antonio.
An espresso that will make you tremble!
The coffee shop opened in 2005 by a happily married couple who owned an old building at Davis Street. After her husband died, Miss Ehrig led her business as nothing happened. It was their dream, that's why she took over the entire shop.

Weeks after the opening, she stayed a night to clean the espresso machine and make some numbers in the cash box. She was alone, but she lived near, so her plan was finishing her job and then go home.

But after she started to count the cash, some noises disturbed her. She thought that it was some rats or something, that’s why she didn't feel unsafe. After minutes, Ehrig went to the espresso machine, alone in the dark. She found nothing, but the noises had stopped. Ehrig went back to the cash box as nothing happened and the weird sounds started again. She wasn't afraid, so she went back to the espresso machine to her desk continuously, until dawn. She saw nothing.

Weeks after, her son came back to her crying nervously because he saw all the dishes floating around like moved by invisible hands. Ehrig started to worry about her place, so she called a priest and a professional paranormal buster. They didn't find something abnormal, but Ehrig wasn't satisfied.

Since then, rumors about ghost activity in The coffee shop were spread around Caldwell County. Although she believes her husband is the one protecting the place, it makes her wonder if it's a good or an evil presence around the barista workshop and the tables.

Customers said that you strange sensations while you’re in the coffee shop. Those sensitive to paranormal activity considers these ghostly auras to be as old as the village. They attribute them to the souls who still live in Ehrig old building.

Today, the mystery of The coffee shop is still open. What do you think? Would you go to Caldwell County to meet Ehrig and her ghostly shop? Coffland Corp is not a ghostbuster company, but surely we would be glad to share your thoughts on our blog or our social media accounts!
At this shop, you'll start to believe in ghosts.

Enjoy a Shameless Cup at This Sexy Coffee Shop

Café con piernas is an outstanding coffee shop in Santiago de Chile.
Santiago is the capital of Chile. This South American country moves between the cold Alps and the sweaters, resulting in an almost all-conservative population, numb by the cold. However, in the same block where the Presidential Palace is, and thus the country's political movement, there is a building that melts down more than one client!

Here at Coffland Corp, we will introduce the world famous Café con piernas, a coffee shop where the first thing customers see is not its coffee cups. Keep reading to know more about this particular shop!

Coffee with legs
Café con piernas (or Coffee with legs) is a coffee shop that attracts attention from the outside.  Although it seems a rather vintage decoration, it should be taken as the first sign of its theme.

The shop window has a wallpaper with drawings of long, slender female legs with high heels. Hence the name of the coffee shop and its enormous popularity. The waitresses or "legs" that serves the coffee are dressed in a colorful lace that is not suitable for minors. But don't worry. This coffee shop doesn't lend itself to indecency. The staff working in the Café con piernas only has a sensual uniform but is very strict with the customer’s behaviors.

The purpose of this sexy theme is to encourage the love for coffee, showing that there is nothing more erotic and stimulating than a good cup of espresso. According to its owners, Café con piernas has a great success due to the charisma of its waitress and the kindness of clients. People from Santiago are timid, so this coffee shop encourages them to be more confident with their appearance and be free about its prejudging culture.

Although the waitress and baristas have a sexy looking, the decoration of Café con piernas doesn't rely on the theme. It looks like a vintage coffee shop from 1950 with dark colors but using neon lights for a more modern looking.

What do you think about the Café con piernas? Here at Coffland Corp, we don't have the right legs to use a sexy wardrobe, but we are glad of the idea of a sexy coffee cup! If you're in Santiago de Chile, you should visit this great coffee shop and share your experience with us.
This certainly is the less boring coffee shop in Chile.

Join the Suspended Coffee Movement and Spread Happiness Anonymously!

The Pay-for-it-coffee movement spread cups to bring hope!
Most charitable works are motivated by the need to benefit other people who don't have much luck. Every day, donations of material and monetary goods are given to companies that distribute the good deeds of others. However, not always you need to participate in a big campaign to give a stranger a good day.

On today's blog, Coffland Corp will demonstrate you that you can spread happiness by just a simple gest. Keep reading and find out what is going on!

Suspended coffee movement
In Naples,  it's said that when a person testifies a good deed or if he is lucky, he makes an offering to Fate with a cup of coffee. He or she buys two cups but leaves one at the coffee shop counter.

Another charismatic story related to this beautiful event originates in an urban myth. It's said that, years ago, a man with a lot of money used to buy two cups of coffee, but only consumed one. He left on the table the other coffee cup in case someone couldn't afford its daily coffee. This simple gesture inspired others who did the same.

In 2013, as a result of an open group on Facebook, a campaign called "suspended coffee" was very popular around the world. People from everywhere started to buy coffee to a random person with no more benefit than the satisfaction of a stranger's smile.

John M. Sweeney is the founder of this page that has traveled the world due to the generosity of other people. For him, buying an extra cup of coffee every day is a cost that has affected his pocket, however, he believes that this small sacrifice can restore faith in humanity and cheer another who, for one or another circumstance, needs a little extra energy (not only bodily but psychic and spiritual).

So, what do you think? Would you buy an espresso to a random stranger? Or would you wait to another person to buy you a drink? Generosity has no face, that's why here at Coffland Corp we enjoy coffee as much as our followers and customers. We encourage you to start spreading great coffee experience and share it with us!
Be gentle and kind to others!

What Is Shade-Grown Coffee and How Impacts Your Drink?

Taste a complex flavor due to Mother Nature.
Coffee harvests have evolved. Every day, farmers and producers come up with new techniques to strengthen the beans and improve the flavors of the final product. However, although the quality of coffee is increasing, environmental safety is not. The use of pesticides and genetically altered grains affect the environment.

Because of that, a new generation of farmers has adopted an old but efficient rural system. Here at Coffland Corp, we will teach you how shade-grown crop works, an alternative against genetic modifications which seeks to reach to a more organic and healthy drink.

Shade-grown coffee: what does it mean?
Coffee culture has its up and downs. Due to the substantial increase in coffee consumers in the last century, producers needed to accelerate the growth and harvest of coffee plants. Thus, they used the latest advances in genetics to modify seeds and fortify the properties of coffee. This also involved cutting down trees in rainforests as long as the coffee plants received more sun and more nutrients from the soil.

Although this system worked for a long time, organizations concerned about the environment realized that coffee production had reduced biodiversity in the area surrounding crops. There was no more trees, no more birds and other animals that lived around!

Due to the lack of animal population, farmers had to use chemicals that scared away insects, as there were no natural enemies to defend coffee plantations. After trying various formulas for not sacrificing coffee quality, many opted to use the technique of their ancestors.

The Shade-grown method involves the absence of stimulant chemicals for plants and insecticides. The trees serve as natural filters that regulate the sun and rain for coffee plantations. In this way, plants can grow naturally, without being affected by other external factors.

Benefits of shade-grown coffee
In addition to the obvious environmental benefits, this coffee has a more intense and natural flavor than other crops. Although its price is a little higher, it's worth the cost. The coffee market recognizes that organic coffee is the best way to drink coffee. The properties of the beverage in your cup are not mistreated, because you take something directly brought from the ground, from Mother Nature!

Here at Coffland Corp, we support this type of methods that take care of nature but also doesn't change the flavor of our favorite drink. Would you give it a try? Tell us below!
An ecologic alternative to coffee cropping process without sacrificing the tastiness.

How to Optimally Keep Your Coffee at Home

Keeping it well-packed will influence your drink.
Baristas and producers highly debate the right way to conserve coffee.Their experiences with the beans vary, but its dedication is quite the same when it comes to bringing the best experience for consumers.

Coffee drinkers know that the conservation of coffee is essential because once the coffee is roasted and packaged, it begins to lose its natural properties, such as aroma or taste.

On today's entry, Coffland Corp will teach you how to prevent the decadence of your coffee using some simple techniques. We are sure that you won't believe how to solve such a complicated problem!

Coffee conservation: an impossible challenge?
When it's roasted, coffee properties can be easily damaged due to air, humidity, and heat. Also, it can absorb different aromas! Keep in mind that after a month, packed ground coffee starts to lose its body. Although, packed coffee beans with more than two months are susceptible to age.

The conservation of your coffee leans on the care and accuracy of the consumer once the package has been opened. Places with high humidity and temperature affect quality negatively, so it's important to take advantage of your resources to preserve your drink:

  • The first thing baristas recommend for those who like to prepare its coffee at home is grind only the amount you are going to drink at the moment.
  • If possible, roast your coffee at the moment you're preparing your drink. If you don't have a machine, some roasters pack the coffee well before it is sold.
  • Chill it! Preserve your roasted coffee beans in a cold, dry place like your fridge. That way, your coffee will always be fresh.
  • The problem of aroma loss is caused mainly by oxidation. There are many hermetic boats specially designed for this purpose on the market.
  • When the coffee pot is full, there is very little air that can oxidize the coffee pot. However, when the boat is half-way, the air/coffee ratio causes more oxidation reactions. Put a transparent cooking film on the surface of the coffee and glued to the interior walls of the pot.

Here at Coffland Corp, we're worried about quality as much as you! We hope these tips will help you boost your coffee routine. Do you have another useful advice? Share it with us!
A mediocre preservation could rest body in your coffee cup.

All You Need to Know about Peaberry Coffee

An extraordinary gift from nature with the greatest properties!
Nature has some slips that lead to grateful results. Coffee is not an exception. Its consumption emerged originally as an accident (well, actually was the accidental curiosity of a shepherd) and turned into the most drank beverage around the world.

This fact apart, on today's entry we will tell you the curious case of a slip of nature that originated a delicious drink with coffee highly consumed by Arabica fanatics. That's the case of the peaberry cup. Are you curious now? Keep reading and find out:

The perks of being a peaberry bean
The peaberries are the result of a genetical change in arabica coffee beans. When the coffee plant is flowering, each cherry usually contains two seeds (grains) in its interior. Each of these grains occupies a half of the sphere that forms the cherry inside. Hence they have a more curved part, almost flat. However, peaberry bean contains only one seed. They are more rounded and fat, like two seeds in one.

When it's flowering, Peaberries plants receive more rain and sunshine than the rest of the coffee flower plantation. Their growth is lower while the concentration of acids higher. This makes the resulting cup with a stronger flavor and an intense aroma.

Earlier, coffee farmers discarded these seeds. Today they're used to create a product, unlike conventional coffee. The roasting process is slightly different from the regular one. Peaberries can roll through the machine and are more sensitive inside, that's why the roasting is brief using lower temperatures.

The final package must not contain another type of berry because it could contaminate their natural properties. Also, its consumption requires a more fine grinding. However, the drink preparation it's the same as the average beans.

You can prepare your regular beverage, but also its possible to find cold brewing peaberries drinks, with or without liqueur. That means you can enjoy a delicious frappe with peaberry beans while you're in summer days or an exquisite espresso at the office. You can choose how to prepare it, like regular coffee.

Here at Coffland Coffee, we are delighted with this natural slip. Why don't you give it a chance? Maybe you'll be surprised with the peaberry drink as much as us! Share your cup on this blog or on our social media accounts.
Peaberries were discarded during the collecting, but now they're highly appreciated in the coffee market!

What Does Whiskey-Infused Coffee Taste Like?

Jack Daniel's coffee is a non-alcoholic drink. You can taste it any time of the day!
It is known that you can mix coffee with almost everything in your kitchen. Although this drink is compatible with some ingredients, there are others that maybe were destined to be with your favorite beverage.

We can't guess if you believe in love at first sign, but here at Coffland Corp, the only thing we are sure is that a coffee cup can make anybody fall in love with its tastiness. We wrote today's entry thinking about romances with coffee.

No, we won't do a rating of Romeo and Juliet's copies, but we will share with you a delicious story about two big drinks that fell in love and now are happily married with our palates:

Coffee-infused whiskey?
Once upon a time, Jack Daniel’s company thought that their whiskey needed an innovating touch. Although this alcoholic drink is sold worldwide, they want to make every sip a new experience to their followers.

That's why they join forces with World of Coffee industry and, after some time of experiments and food science stuff, they created the first coffee-infused whiskey of the world!

Wanna know how it tastes it? First, this drink is non-alcoholic. That means you can taste it before going to work without sacrificing your productivity at the office.

According to some drinkers, the coffee-infused coffee can be distinguished to other coffee drinks because of its particular flavor: a vanilla-coffee mix with a little touch of whiskey in the fragrance, but not on its taste. Also, the aroma of the beans before grind has a cocoa powder thing that bewitches drinkers.

If you want to try it for yourself, the Jack Daniel's website promotes the selling and shipping around the world. Therefore, some alternate markets are still selling the product.

Here at Coffland Corp, we promote creativity and empowerment in the coffee world. This experiment surely revolutionizes the way we drank coffee and whiskey, that's why you should taste it and share your experience with us on our blog or our social media accounts!
This combination is perfect as a happy hour drink, or when you need to boost your energy in the mornings!
